The Resident Care Fund allows United Methodist Communities to support residents who, through no fault of their own, have outlived their financial resources and are unable to afford the full cost of their care. Through support from churches, organizations, and faithful supporters, United Methodist Communities has been able to provide benevolent/charitable care to residents for over one hundred years. In the past ten years alone, the United Methodist Communities Foundation has been able to grant over $13.9 million to United Methodist Communities for charitable care.
Tapestries Memory Care Fund supports United Methodist Communities’ programming to enhance quality of life for our residents living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Memory Support care at UMCommunities is customized to each resident’s unique situation, with daily routines complemented by music, fitness, socialization, and assistive technology to foster well-being.
The Senior Wellness Fund was created to assist United Methodist Communities in their quest to give older adults living both inside and outside of our walls access to expert resources, lifelong learning, socialization, and wellness programs. UMCommunities believes in person centered care/serving the whole person, so cafes offer programs and activities based on the six core components of wellness: physical, spiritual, intellectual, vocational, emotional, and social. The Senior Wellness Fund’s current project is raising financial support for UMCommunities’ Senior Space resource cafes.
Donors always have the option to leave their contributions undesignated, which means the money will be applied to the current area of greatest need.
